At L.E.A.D. Academy, LLC, we believe every student deserves access to high-quality instruction and the targeted support needed to achieve meaningful academic growth. We provide in-person and virtual literacy and mathematics intervention for students in grades 6–8, with instruction designed to address individual learning needs and strengthen the skills necessary for grade-level success.
Our approach goes beyond traditional tutoring. L.E.A.D. Academy provides evidence-based, targeted intervention informed by diagnostic assessment, student performance data, and ongoing progress monitoring. We use data-based instructional adjustments to identify skill gaps, respond to student needs, and provide focused instruction that supports measurable academic growth.
In literacy, we strengthen the foundational and comprehension skills students need to successfully read, understand, analyze, and respond to grade-level text. In mathematics, we address foundational skill gaps while building conceptual understanding, problem-solving skills, and readiness for grade-level and advanced mathematics.
We also recognize that student success requires a strong system of support. Through family and community engagement, school partnerships, and ongoing communication about student progress, L.E.A.D. Academy works collaboratively to help students overcome learning gaps and move toward grade-level proficiency.

L.E.A.D. Academy was founded on a simple belief: every student can succeed when given the right support, high expectations, and meaningful opportunities to learn.
Having more than 25 years of experience in education, our founder witnessed a growing need among middle school students. Too many learners were falling behind in reading and mathematics, entering new grade levels without the confidence or fundamental skills they needed to thrive. Families wanted more than traditional tutoring—they wanted a program that would challenge students, build confidence, and prepare them for long-term academic success.
That vision became L.E.A.D. Academy.
L.E.A.D. stands for Leadership, Education, Achievement, and Determination—the four principles that guide everything we do. We believe academic success is about more than improving grades or test scores. It is about developing students who think critically, solve problems confidently, persevere through challenges, and become leaders in their classrooms and communities.
Unlike many tutoring programs that focus only on remediation, L.E.A.D. Academy emphasizes acceleration, enrichment, and growth. Our fully virtual programs help students strengthen fundamental skills while preparing them for the academic demands of the next grade level. Through engaging instruction, small-group learning, ongoing progress monitoring, and individualized support, students acquire the confidence to reach their full potential.
Our programs—including LEAD Launch, LEAD Lite, LEAD Core, LEAD Mastery, the Summer Success Academy, and the SOL Success Bootcamp—are carefully designed for students in Grades 6–8. Every course integrates rigorous instruction in Reading and Mathematics, helping students master essential standards while developing cognitive thinking, problem-solving skills, and academic independence.
At L.E.A.D. Academy, learning extends beyond the classroom. We partner with families to celebrate growth, encourage perseverance, and inspire students to take ownership of their learning journey.
