We provide research-based instruction in literacy and mathematics through engaging, student-centered learning experiences that help students discover their strengths, overcome challenges, and reach their full potential. We believe every learner deserves meaningful support, high expectations, and an inclusive environment where diverse experiences, perspectives, and abilities are valued.
Our commitment is to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to succeed in school and beyond. L.E.A.D. Academy was founded on a simple belief: every student can succeed when given the right support, high expectations, and meaningful opportunities to learn.
Having more than 25 years of experience in education, our founder witnessed a growing need among middle school students. Too many learners were falling behind in reading and mathematics, entering new grade levels without the confidence or fundamental skills they needed to thrive. Families wanted more than traditional tutoring—they wanted a program that would challenge students, build confidence, and prepare them for long-term academic success.
That vision became L.E.A.D. Academy.
L.E.A.D. stands for Leadership, Education, Achievement, and Determination—the four principles that guide everything we do. We believe academic success is about more than improving grades or test scores. It is about developing students who think critically, solve problems confidently, persevere through challenges, and become leaders in their classrooms and communities.
Unlike many tutoring programs that focus only on remediation, L.E.A.D. Academy emphasizes acceleration, enrichment, and growth. Our fully virtual programs help students strengthen fundamental skills while preparing them for the academic demands of the next grade level. Through engaging instruction, small-group learning, ongoing progress monitoring, and individualized support, students acquire the confidence to reach their full potential.
Our programs—including LEAD Launch, LEAD Lite, LEAD Core, LEAD Mastery, the Summer Success Academy, and the SOL Success Bootcamp—are carefully designed for students in Grades 6–8. Every course integrates rigorous instruction in Reading and Mathematics, helping students master essential standards while developing cognitive thinking, problem-solving skills, and academic independence.
At L.E.A.D. Academy, learning extends beyond the classroom. We partner with families to celebrate growth, encourage perseverance, and inspire students to take ownership of their learning journey. Every lesson is designed to help students not only succeed in school today but also build the skills and characteristics needed to be future leaders of tomorrow.
